After an hour of toweling off, brushing and standing in a warm stall with her fleece blanket, it was time to put her winter blanket on and turn her out, which to Winnie was about 40 minutes overdue. Open the tack room door and it didn't take long for her beau's PC and Target to be on seen. Tired Winnie (so we thought) cantered through the snow to the back pasture to find some untouched snow drifts to roll in, then walked back to the boys for a stroll around. The red door is one access point to the tack/groom room. As I pan left the main barn where they all sleep in the basement section. Surrounded on three sides by cobble stone and earth, it is relatively warm and draft free sanctuary for them. The ramp leads up to the hay loft and is a frequent spot for Winnie to stand looking over her queendom. With the soft snow falling I couldn't resist some shots
